Cici Glam's Pure Rhassoul Clay powder has very high adsorbing properties
and a molecular structure that gives it a unique ability to absorb
excess dirt and oil, as well as extract impurities from the skin (why it
is so effective as a face wash or face mask) and is also rich in
magnesium, silica, potassium, and calcium, which all help to nourish
Our Rhassoul clay is also perfect for hair as a deeply nourishing
shampoo. Especially effective for oily hair, it de-greases the scalp yet
does not disrupt the skin or hair shaft. Using Rhassoul clay paste
instead of commercial shampoo could prove ideal for someone trying to
limit their exposure to some of the the toxic chemicals found in most
HOW TO USE:
As a Face Mask: The simplest use for our Rhassoul clay is as a face
mask. It can be mixed with water or rose water to form a silky paste.
This paste can be brushed or rubbed onto the face left to dry for 5 - 10
mins before washing off. If you have very sensitive skin, do not let the
mask stay on your face for more than 5 minutes.
As a Face Scrub: Our Rhassoul clay can also be combined with other
ingredients to make an exfoliating and smoothing scrub. The resulting
face scrub can be massaged into the face to exfoliate for 1-2 minutes
and then left
for another 5 minutes to dry before washing off. This will offer the
benefits of a mask and an exfoliation in one step.
As a Hair Mask: Mix 1 tablespoon Rhassoul clay into 1/4 cup of water to
make a thin mixture that can be poured onto hair and massage in. For
hair, it is important not to let the mixture dry as it can contribute to
hair breakage if it hardens. It is preferable to massage into hair in
the shower and leave for about 30 seconds before washing.
Full Body Mask: For great skin all-over, a simple paste of rhassoul clay
and water can be used as a full body mask before taking a bath and
washing it off.
Generally, Rhassoul should not be used internally but in some places, it
is used internally because of its high mineral content. It is very
important to check with a doctor before using it in this way.
If used incorrectly, Rhassoul Clay can have some unwanted effects
including undesirable reactions specifically on dyed or chemically
treated hair. Most often what is seen is dampening or tarnished color of
Also, when used as a shampoo, frequently users may see hair breakage
specifically if they aren’t using appropriate water to clay ratios.
